About Les Lames:
Les Lames is visible from many parts of Grenoble. Its an older climbing area and the easier routes are extremely smooth. The bolting is a little sparse near the top (by most standards), and the grades are solid: dont expect any giveaways. If you think you have slab skills, this is a good testing ground: there are several 8a and up slabs. |

Directions: | Take the road up towards the Col de Clemenciers out of St. Martin D'heres. Park on the north side of the road across from the sign that says "Le Mas d'Oris". There is a small flat trail that goes southeast from this parking, and (eventually) a small wooden sign on one of the pine trees that says "Les Lames". Follow it up to the crag. |
