About Vercors - Presles:
| Very interesting limestone area offering climbs from hard one-pitch sport wonders to hard 300 meter aid or trad routes. Most people are attracted by long (8-10 pitches in general) bolted routes on sculptured orange and grey limestione. Best climbing season is spring and autumn as in the summer temperatures are high and the cliff is South-facing. Plenty of Gites to stay in, small restaurants etc. Visit Chez Enzio, held by an italian climbing guide in Presles for a well-merrited beer after the hard day. |
