About Orpierre:
|
Orpierre lies in an area called Haute-Provence and has a very dry climate. As it lies quite high it can become quite cold during the night in spring. So bring a good sleeping bag. In summer it is quite hot there. It is a good area for beginners. The tracks to the routes are all marked. Most of the routes are completely bolted. For the sections Quiquillon and Adrech bring a double 90m rope. For all other sections, a 60m single rope should suffice. |
