About 16- Normandy and NW France:

Area west and northwest of Paris, facing England. While its southern part is cristalline, its norther patr is sedimentary, and the tall chalk cliffs are sometimes climbed in a dry-tooling style! Its climate is... very wet and a bit windy, making Normandy a nice place to visit, a nice place to eat (think Camembert!), but not a climbing destination.
