About Kottenheim:
An old quarry area that accompanies the Ettringen Lay quary, this area is not in a hole however and is nicer in summer, routes are generally no more than 10 meters in height, the area offers boulder problems all around, you will have to do some searching for the walls since they´re spread out over the area. |

Directions: | Take highway 565 out of Bonn in direction Trier, take the Adenau Turnoff and then direction Bell/Mayen, stick to the main road until entering Ettringen, once you´ve passed the city limit take the first turn to the left, there is a yellow sign advertising "Kottenheim", follow this road until the first available left turnoff, follow that turn in and park at the fork in the road. follow the left side of the road until you can take the pathways that traverse the area. |
