5 glued in stainless steel bolts (Bühlerhaken) in the lower section, 2 more till summit. Not very much, but falling is widely impossible. Needs guts though.

A long and enduring chimney, wonderful climbing - if you like chimneys... Note that the creek and the length of the route make verbal communication impossible. Agree on rope commands beforehand. If needed one can bail out to the left at the ledge.

Walk down or use one of the other routes' anchors.

3 out of 5 stars Do I hate chimneys...

... they feel ugly, smell ugly, make you look ugly... if at least the rating would match the times you just wanted to give up - just to see there's 15ft between the last bolt and you... yes I hate chimneys... it's a classic.
