The Steinicht is part of the beautiful Elstertal, a small valley graved by the Elster creek. Left and right to the valley are the different walls/blocks to climb on, up to maybe 50m/150ft.
The rock consists of different vulcanic stone and provides different structures from slab to small cripers, overhanging routes, small roofs and a couple of smaller cracks.
Though the rock in the routes is mostly solid, a helmet is strongly recommended.
