About Kalithea:

Scattered boulders across a large field overlooking the sea, with a wide cliff rising up across the road. The cliff is approximatly 40 meters high, with occasional solid rock. No bolts as of September '05, decent trad ground. A few cracks run up the top, and the majority of the wall is blocky climbing. Easy, relaxing day of climbing.
Nearest town or city: Rhodes
Directions: Drive south down the main road leading out of Rodos on the eastern island, about 20km. Once you break out from the inland, you should see the cliff on the right hand side of the road. Looking south from Rodos, you can see some cliffs on the peninsula (with a radio tower on it). Kalithea is on the other side of the peninsula. YOu can also take the bus system for 1.70 (Euro) from the city's old town.
