The best time for rock climbing at Lagada is from mid May to mid October, although if you are lucky with the weather,you may find good days for climbing earlier or later than this . The location and the height around 800m create good conditions for climbing even in the hottest days of the summer.In line with the temperature and the weather it is easy to find routes in the sun or in the shade throughout the day. The bolting of the routes means that minimal equipment is needed for climbing here: a single 60 metres rope and 15 quickdraws, in addition to your personal gear . At all the belay points there are two bolts, one of which has a ring for easy abseiling. The rock has a varied and pronounced surface with holes,small holds and stalagmites. The routes mostly ascend slabs or overhanging sections.The exception here is only one route which ascends a corner. All the routes are bolted with 10mm stainless steel bolts,expect from two routes which have 12mm bolts.
