In approaching from the water, access base of pillar from adjacent rock outcrop. Once one meter split is overcome, climb up and left through rock and brush mix to cleaner outcrop. Once atop, recommend ending pitch. There is one bolt at "anchor station." Second pitch is up and along the seaward side of the ridgeline where there are very ocassional bolts (maybe 2) until one tops out at a two-bolt anchor. There is an additional two-bolt anchor higher up the class four stuff. Watch the rope drag as the rock is sharp.

Descent Options:

Rap from top of pillar into water with a 60m or rap down route to first belay and later down onto the adjacent rock outcrop.

3 out of 5 stars No books, No idea

First climb of the vacation. Descended down the route, then climbed back up. Rock accepts mid-size cams well, though it thrashes ropes as it is quite sharp.
