About Cuillin Ridge:

The Black Cuillin of Skye has long been considered one of the most serious and adventurous places in Scotland. The full traverse of the ridge is not only the hardest ridge traverse in the UK, but also the most aesthetic, enjoyable and committing. The winter traverse is considered the best alpine outing avalible in Britain, but it rarely comes into condition. A guidebook I once read told readers to "take the day off work, or if necessary quit your job" should the become aware of good ice conditions on the Cuillin.
