About Chaemiloch:

This is a climbing wall near the town of Schwyz, it's only 15 minutes from the train station. It offers 80+ single pitch routes from 3 to 8c+ up to 25m height. Most routes offer bolts every 2 meters. It is family and kids friendly. Drawbacks are the railway line which cuts right through the site and the exposition, in the summer shadow comes in the afternoon, which is the preferred time for locals to climb here. If you are exhausted by the climbing and the heat, you can have a jump into the public swimming site of Lauerzersee (you will see the signs on your way to the wall). Conclusion: If you want to spend a day climbing, go for a multi pitch route in any of the nearby climbing sides in Switzerland. But if you have kids with you or beginners, or if you just want to spend half a day climbing, the limestone wall of Chaemiloch is a good choice. If you lack any equipment, the next store is just 500m away.
Nearest town or city: Schwyz
Directions: Take the train to Schwyz (the station is not in Schwyz itself but in Seewen). Now walk north along the railways, stay east of the railways. After about 5 minutes you will leave the town and enter grassland. At this point you pass a climbing shop. If you cannot see the wall by now, the weather will be too bad to climb anyways. There are routes both on the west and east side of the railway line. You can get to the other side about 500m south of the wall (you will notice the underbridge on your approach).
