Numerous climbing opportunities exist between Foros and Yalta. The areas are numbered as they appear from left to right, as going from Sevastopol to Yalta.

You will not be disappointed if you choose to start your visit with the rocks emerging directly from the sea around Balaklava - going west to east, you have Arfen-Cher-Burun peak (access only by boat either from Laspi or from Balaklava), Aija, Kuch-Kaya, and than Ilyas-Kaya. They are not exactly popular crowd mountains but they will give you various exquisite multi-pitch sea climbing opportunities. A sport climbing area Sarych is also near-by (see the Sevastopol sport section).

Three are several formations around the Foros city itself. Three of them form a chain over the city - Foros Kant (left one), Uarsh-Kaya (right one) and the Mshatka-Kaya (in the middle).

Further to the east, in the direction of Yalta, you will stumble upon the Kilse chain, with Zamok, Maluj Kilse, Kilse-Burun and Bashnia offering more 400m multi-pitch routes.
