About 05. Ai Petri:

Ai Petri is the mountain you will notice over greater Yalta, like Mount Olympus over Salt Lake City or Mont Blanc towering over Chamonix. Being 1234m high, it delivers a real mountain experience and comes with all its dangers. Numerous multi-pitch routes rated from 5.2 to 5.12+ go up the face. You will also benefit from a beautiful view of the Black sea and the town of Alupka.

Ai Petri is also the mountain where first steps of alpinism in Crimea were taken. New harder and more technical routes took some time before emerging, but today you can find several interesting ones with average length of 370 meters or more.

There are two ways down the face - hiking through the woods (there is a trail) or taking a gondola back to Alupka.

Ai Petri is also known as a caving paradise with 35 explored caves.
