About Pinfold Crags(OS):

This crag has well over 100 routes, of which most are worth climbing. High up, and generally north facing, it can get hostile in bad weather though. The rock is mostly good, and usually protects very well. Most routes are in the middle and lower Extreme grades.
Nearest town or city: Llangollen
Directions: OS117--GR222/453 Two and a half miles NNE of Llangollen. From Llangollen on the A5 cross the bridge in the center of town and turn left on the A592. After one mile, turn right up to the Eglwyseg valley and World's End. After about 600 yards take the left turn to the valley, where you will reach a T-junction after a little over half a mile. Turn left here, and after a half mile, park near Rock Farm. From here, a footpath will lead off east and up to the crag in about 700 yards.
