About Carreg Wasted (OS):

This is actually the poorest of all the crags in the pass, but nevertheless, it has some very good climbing, and the classic SEVERE, Crackstone Rib, which is a great route. About 250 feet tall with over 30 routes in all of the grades. The rock is never really sound and the central route, Erosion Groove, is very aptly named. |

| Directions: | OS 115 GR SH 626 570 Alt. 360m 3.8 miles southeast of Llanberis. Head up the pass to some turns off to the right, some climbing huts and a campsite. The crag is 500 feet up on the left, and is rather rambling in appearance. |
