About Carnedd Y Filiast (OS):
There are about 20 good, long routes in the DIFF to HS grades here, each about a thousand feet long. The routes are known for being poorly protected, snow pickets have even been used for protection. The quality of the rock improves with the height ascended, as does the satisfaction of being a "real" mountaineer.
