About Idwal Slabs (OS):

The largest concentration of routes in this area. About 60 routes total with all of the grades covered. This is a good crag but suffers from overcrowding, however the attraction of some very fine routes will tempt you at some stage. By continuing up past the top of the crag, Glyder Fawr Upper Cliff is reached, with its 20 or so routes. An expedition to the summit from the bottom of the slabs is a great mountain day.
Many people get caught out by the descent. From the top of the slabs near the Lunchon Stone, head left and then follow the scratch marks and polished rock another 300 feet higher.
