Climbing at Ogmore can be a memorable experience, especially if you get the tides wrong! The tides here are very fast, and the rocks very sharp to fall on, however, the climbing here makes it all worthwhile. Lots of routes for the expert, and plenty in the other grades too. In parts it is just overhanging, and in others, wildly overhanging. The rock is sound except for some of the top belays, and double ropes are essential on the harder routes, as are prusiks or Jumars for the second of insufficient ability. Few of the climbs are escapable at high tide, and if there are high seas, the dangers will become obvious! About 200 routes up to 150 feet long, and SW facing for the afternoon sun.
