About Buckspool Down(OS):

An area that is little affected by the tide, or even rough seas. A broken area of cliffs, 100 to 150 feet tall running between Space Buttress and The Fortress with about 30 very nice VS and HVS routes. Rappell in to your route, the escape route is HS.
Nearest town or city: St. Govan's
Directions: OS158--GR953/936 From the St. Govan's car park, walk into the range and follow the track past the wire enclosure of Saddle Head, past the next blunt headland and on to The Castle, noted for its large cave. Buckspool Down is the line of broken cliffs leading northwest from The Castle.
