From the parking lot, head up the short sandy slope and follow the Overlander trail. The trail splits into many little trails, keep left. Follow the Overlander trail for about 5 to 10 min. There will be a smooth rock with a plaque in memory of Geo L. Jones. Only 50m past this rock is fork in the trail with a sign that say, %u201CDon%u2019t Go Left%u201D. A trail climbs steeply on the left, the Overlander continues to the right. Ignore the sign and go left. Follow this trail for about 5 minutes until it traverses the base of the cliff. The trail can be a bit narrow and has one section passing over a small piece (2m) of limestone slab. The slope is very gentle but can be intimidating to first timers. Total time %u2013 15 Minutes, less on the way out. |
