About Mount Assiniboine:
Mount Assiniboine is the tallest of the Southern Canadian Rocky Mountains and is called the Matterhorn of North America. This beautiful mountain is on the Continental Divide with part of the mountain in Alberta and the other in British Columbia. The most popular access is from the Alberta Side via Lake Magog and the Mt. Assiniboine Lodge. The Lodge can be accessed via helicopter from Shark Moutain or backpack 27 km. |
