Aprox 45km from Terrace, towards Prince Rupert. Park at the mouth of a gated road, with a HUGE tree right on the side of hwy16.
After walking down the de-comissoned road for a while, the trail goes into the woods. Its new, so the trail is not exactly defined! Its about 45mins slogging tru dense underbush, thorns and steep dirt banks. Pants, long shirts, and gloves are a must. Layer down for the climb, cause its right in the sun... all day. The brutal hike is worth it, cause the route is amazing, and has one hell of a view! |
