sooo fun adventure style
I lead it as my first trad lead ever, & did it with a rack of nuts. I didn't even place one nut, just slung a chock stone 1/2 way up or so.

Bizarre Moves
Fun climb, the moves inside the chimney are bizarre and force you to either climb above a chock stone or through a hole created by aforementioned chock stone. The chimney itself can be described as twisting. Rope drag through the chimney prevents top roping but belaying a second for their first chimney experience is a good idea. There's really not many places for pro in the chimney from what I saw but if you did fall you would just get stuck anyway. Overall, it's a lot of fun. My guidebook doesn't list VMAX so I'm not sure if this is the one across from VMAX or not but it is the left most of the two chimneys in fern gulley.
