Description:
This line takes the crack on the left hand side of The Split Pillar. At the belay at the base of the bolt ladder, climb the thin crack which slowly widens to 5" near the top. Very airy pitch.

Ascent Note
The guide book suggests that the climbing gets much easier after the crux; so I decided to take up to 3" on this route. Since I cruised the crux and only then realized my plight, I decided to forge on..because this was to be my first (if not last) 12a trad onsight. So, I ran the 10.b offwidth 50 feet out. Needless to say, I would have taken 100+ footer to the slab below had I blown it. My belayer was not happy.

Ascent Note
Incredible....one of the best pitches at Squamish!Place a couple of cams before launching into the crux(jam straight on,don't try to layback)then go all the way to the 1st hand jam to place gear, don't stop in the middle of the crux.
