A non intimidating route up the West face of Snowpatch Spire. Go up the Bug/Snowpatch col, head left at the saddle and start up the big gully, you can't miss it! Stash your gear at the base, as you rap back down to the start of the route. 5.7-5.8. The top pitch is mossy.

4 out of 5 stars Buckingham, IV, 5.10

The Buckingham Route allows for two options, the “Enjoyable Way” at 5.9, AD+ (8 pitches) and the continuation of Buckingham to the north summit, 5.10+, D (an additional 4 pitches). The north summit (10,040’) of Snowpatch Spire requires 2800’+/- gain from the Conrad Kain hut or 5100+/- gain from the Bugaboo trail head/parking area.
Snowpatch Route was in the sun all day while we were quite chilled on our west face route. Still a worthwhile objective.

Fun route! Definatley worth doing. It is a bit cooler on this face, so a later start is ok to let the sun come round a bit.
