About Boulder Gardens:

5 km loop trail, most of the climbing is along the righthand trail (counterclockwise) in the first 2 1/2 km. Lots of bouldering and short routes. Some bolted anchors have been added, more on their way.
Nearest town or city: Tumbler Ridge
Directions: From Tumbler Ridge, drive southeast on Boundary Road ;/ Heritage Highway for about 21 km, turn right at the Peace River Coal Trend Mine sign onto the gravel Core Lodge Road. This is radio controlled (Beaton Safety channel, 150.815) but industry traffic tolerates tourists rather well. Travel 12.5 km (marked) and take the right fork (non-mine traffic). About 600 m there is a right turn onto South Core Lodge Road which goes up a switchback. Follow 1 km, parking on right. Roads are generally well maintained and a car can make it. Walk in at back of parking area down overgrown road, turn left at sign (c. 250 m) onto the trail. Or just explore area - the rocks are obvious.
