Burgoyne Boulderfield
About Burgoyne Boulderfield:
The boulderfield is located at the base of Mt. Maxwell although they are accessed from Burgoyne Rd. in Fulford valley. They consist of dozens of boulders on top of one another and scattered through a large area. |
Approach: | Head to the end of Burgoyne Bay road, park in the bottom right lot, and head up the trail. You'll meet with an old road to follow uphill shortly, and after that take the first established foot path on the left. Two impossible to miss boulders, Zaphod & Beeblebrox, sit just above the start of the footpath. Follow the beaten trail up straight to the middle of the field. About 10 minutes from the parking lot. |
