Trad rack especially small cams and wires
Ankle biter begins on a subtle rounded ridge about 20 feet right of Noobie Squeeze Follow a slanting seam 20' up to the treed ledge and then straight up a 15' vertical face. After the angle slacks off veer a little left and continue to the bolted anchors.
Solid at the grade but I didn't like the pro. Needed a lot of smaller cams that wondered. The upper third had me wishing for a good piece of gear. A little hot if this is your first 5.6 lead. I have talked with Bob and it is likely we will put in a bolt or two in the spring.
About a year and a half ago I tried to pioneer this one with a ground up FA and broke my ankle when a hold broke. Now after toproping, mock leads, an awful lot of dirt in the face from cleaning it sending it was mostly a mind game. I think I've go my confidence back.
The pro is really good especially after the trees.
