Description:

After the start of Lavender, the trail at the foot of the cliff becomes narrow and rocky and drops down between broken rock above and a steep slab below. Piton Highway starts at the top of this narrow, rocky section. Go up to an obvious left facing vertical corner. Climb this direct to a short wall. This can be climbed direct (5.8) or by moving a few feet right to an awkward left leaning crack (5.6). Both options bring you out on a huge sloping ledge with a cedar tree

5 out of 5 stars lead it

Was a nice lead. Found there's now 3 bolts instead of one, which was a pleasant surprise. Also, nice to get the red point. (Had climbed it once before a couple years previously on top rope.)

An excellent climb at its grade.

4 out of 5 stars Gatineau Classic

Fun climb, with a few easier variations. I agree about the bolts. Very puzzling.

3 out of 5 stars Bolt highway?

Don't get the logic this climb. Need to protect in trad for first half, then there are 2 bolts placed next to perfect cracks, one a mere 6 inches away. Ah the mysteries of bold addicts...
