About Le Grand Morne:
| In the region of the "amiante" the grand morne was recently opened. it was kept secret for a while, but finally local climbers signed an agreement for five years Its a nice place to trad or top rope no many sport climbs. You can camp on the spot, at the summit. You need to walk to get to the camping. It's a 30 min uphill walk with all your stuff. But the walk is worth it. You have a very nice view of the whole region. Price for camping is 14$ a night or 8$ per person per night for the refuge. |

| Directions: | Take the route to Thetford Mines and go East on 112 to Robertsonville. From there follow indications to Sacré-Coeur-de-Marie. Pass this village, always East bound, till a big curve at the bottom of a hill. Go straight on the gravel road, a signs says Grand Morne 4km. |
