Ice climbing near Montreal.
A few routes, both easy and what look to be really hard. Bring two 60m ropes if you want to top rope certain long climbs. Also bring slings and screws to set up anchors, there are few bolts.

This area is very popular on the weekends, so get ready to wait in line, you might find something worthy to climb at St-Hippolyte down the road, if it's in condition.

Nearest town or city: Shawbridge
Directions: Ice climbing close to the 15 north.
Exit after the McDonalds,
go straight till the intersection with the 117 north.
Take this to the first set of traffic lights.
Turn left onto a two way small road.
Left turn onto Montée Sauvage.
Take rights until you see parked car or the cliff of your right.

Access Issues: This cliffs is under the liability insurance of the Fédération Québécoise de la Montagne et de l'Escalade (FQME).

Residents of Canada need to have:
-FQME 'Accès Montagne' membership (55$)
-For members of the Alpine Club of Canada an FQME 'Accès Montagne' upgrade (30$)
Or purchasing a 10$ day pass.

This money is used to pay the liability insurance for landowners regardless if they are private citizens, municipal or provincial.
The maintenance of cliffs and their access, replacing of fixed protection.
