About Lac Beauchamp:

Small artificial lake/park with a beach and some activities available during the summer and winter.
There's a few path to walk around the park etc...
Park is divided by 2 main section: South and north of the railroad. South is public but you "can't" bring your dogs compared to the north where it's mainly a dog park...
Fun place to be and to relax.
I recently started to curiously look for some boulders in the park. I've been finding some spot here and there pretty much each time I went there. It is not the typical 'boulder' as we know (huge rock standing there) but it's still pretty viable. Quality of the rock isn't the best either.

I recommend 'testing' the holds and bring a nylon brush if needed before attempting a problem. I would still recommend this spot for anyone in Gatineau since there's nothing else close or anyone who's pretty much new to climbing outside.

Around 10 min ride from mostly anywhere in Gatineau, around 15-20 from hull and 30 from Ottawa.

Nearest town or city: Gatineau
Directions: From Hull/Ottawa, take the 50, get out at Boulevard Maloney and it will be to your left after 10-15min.
Latitude, Longitude: 45.48770, -75.62293
Access Issues: It's a public place so if you stay respectful of the envirommentand such, should'nt have any problem. There's some cops wandering around at 8pm+ but that's about it...
Camping:
When to Climb: Autumn Spring Summer
Quantity of Climbs: Year
