About The Pump House:

This small draw hosts an overhanging wall/roof of which is perfect bouldering height. The rock is an even grained, high quality Cretaceous granodiorite with nice edges, slopers and crimps.
Approach: Instead of driving to the end of the road, park above the gate that bars the road down to the Pump House (on the lake). Take a trail which heads down the edge of the rim of the canyon along the top of a grassy bluff (approx. 100m). Where the trail enters the forest, make your way down the slope to a spot where you can hop down into the pump house draw (another 100m).
