I it is vary easy to get there: From Guadalajara take the highway heading south toward Ciudad Guzman or Colima, just after Zacoalco de Torres turn left,now heading to Tapalpa, when you arrive to the town you will see a gas station in left, at that point starts the dirt road to the right that leads to Las piedrotas, like 2-3 km you will see them. To have acces to this area you have to pay 5 pesos if you are going to stay just 1 day, if you are going to camp there you have to cover the camp fee, 25 pesos px. you can leave your car outside the area, there is a rustic fence surrounding Las piedrotas. if you do not have car you can get there by bus, you have to go to the old bus station, in spanish, "la central vieja" and take the bus to Tapalpa, will cost you about 60 pesos px. |
