The park was opened up officially to climbing in June 2002. Lee Means was propositioned with the developing of the park. A good number of the park's problems were put up during his week long stay. There have been many vists since and more to come. John Gill is rumored to have run through this playground during his stay in Ft. Payne. Other great pioneers have visted the area of whom are Bob Cormany, Brad McCleod & Steven Farmer. |
