Description:
Starts about 50' right of a huge blocky pillar. Climb a face with some cracks to a large horizontal flake; move left and up over a bulge (crux) using a handcrack, then up and right to anchors. 5.11 variation: instead of moving left and up the crack, go straight up using a thin crack and slopers and continue to anchors. FA: Rich Gottlieb, Chick Holtkamp.

Fun route
We did this in winter with no sun, a mistake, but the route was still great. Bomber nut at the crux.

Good deal
The pro at the crux is an interseting affair, kind of difficult to place and kind of manky. Fortunately a beefy cam can be placed down and away so the fall wouldn't be too bad. I would have to disagree with the 3 star rating which is Watford's max.

Ascent Note
Excellent climb, it was cool to try something new at Jamestown. Seconded Greg's lead, I think I'm ready to lead it next time.
