Description:

A fun route that starts on a block, works up a huge flake with arm/hand jams behind it, then to a finger crack leading up and right. About 50' to the left of Windows. Also known as Golden Flake.

3 out of 5 stars finish seemed committing

I only followed to clean, but that last piece of gear and moves over the ledge seemed committing to me even as a second.

4 out of 5 stars Beautiful line

Super fun climbing to a very stressful position for protection. Either place a piece on top of the flake and run it out and don't think twice or place a piece mid crux and move quickly. Easy for the grade if you skip pro hard if not.

4 out of 5 stars Onsight

Very fun, I ran it out like mad instead of burning energy to place gear on the crux. feet popped off when I grabbed the finishing jugs which made for a scary looking superman ending =P

4 out of 5 stars Gr8 5.9 Trad. Lead

Did this on TR couple years ago. Lead on gear this time. Took a 15-20 foot whipper on a 0.75 camalot in the finger crack (i was very close to the anchors). Protects well and is challenging for a trad. leader who has been hanging out in the 5.6-5.8 range. Finger crack at the top is fun! A #4 camalot goes in the middle if you are considering leaving it at the bottom.
