4 out of 5 stars Cheeks flapping in the air

Great lead, must clip the piton for full effect. The chimney gets a little tight on the right side so head out left to get the full exposure.

4 out of 5 stars Enjoy the View

I should definitely have placed more gear on this. I got blinders after a piece pulled below the traverse. Regardless of that the climb protects really well and is a blast to do. One of the slightly longer climbs at Sandrock.

3 out of 5 stars Bits of fun

The start was fun, but short. The traverse is more like walking than climbing. The chimney is fun, but short. Great view, though. If I climb it again I'll try a variation to spice it up a bit. Rappel from one of the better rappels on the Pinnacle.

3 out of 5 stars This route is best on Saturdays!

Not really, it's great everyday. Flashed this route on TR but didn't feel too pumped at the end. I followed the crack near the beginning, I think it's rate 10b/c, and the chimney for me was fairly easy with a little back work. You can climb outside the chimney onto the face of the rock, but the chimney is good practice.. so stay in it! Pretend you're Santa Claus :)

5 out of 5 stars Pin Chimney

This was a really fun and challenging onsight for me! The start was a little intimidating, but the gear is good, and I felt more at ease once I got to the traverse ledge. The chimney itself is a tight squeeze and has some committing moves, but again it's got pro where you need it. A very satisfying lead, deserves the two stars!
