About Dragonfly Creek:

Dragonfly Creek is located at Mile 242.3 on the Parks Highway, the first creek to the south of the main Nenana River bridge. There is a paved parking pull-out about 100 yards south of the sign identifying Dragonfly Creek. There are two distinct waterfalls on Dragonfly Creek, as well as some rock work and a couple of mixed routes. To reach the routes from the pullout, walk back to the Dragonfly Creek bridge, crampon up, then hike about 50 yards downstream to the upper tier of the main falls. Set up a good top rope anchor here, and rappell the top rope, or head into the alders to the right and continue down the steep scree to the rim of the amphitheater surrounding the upper falls. The base of the lower falls is reached by heading to the right when you get to the rim of the amphitheater, instead of left toward the upper falls.
