Fox Creek is located at Mile 241.2 on the Parks Highway. It has two waterfalls with several variations on the upper falls. Park in either the gravel pull-out about a quarter mile south of the creek, or pull off directly north of the bridge on the east side of the road if space allows. Crampon up on the road and hike up the creek, which is an excellent warm up and intro for novice ice climbers, with a few body height steps. About ten minutes in is Fiasco Notch, use caution here as legs have been broken due to unroped falls on this fifteen foot step. Above the notch about ten to fifteen minutes farther up the creek is Fox Falls. Top ropes for Fox Falls are best set up by going left up the gully beneath the large wall, then coming down another gully on the back side of the wall to get to the creek and the top of the falls.
