Description:

This is the areas showpiece route. There are three seperate sections of this climb, starting with a 50 foot, nearly vertical ice curtain. The second pitch goes up the lower angled ice and snow slope to a moderate bulge and a belay on the left side of the crux pillar. Climb the free standing pillar attached to the inside of a dihedral. This pillar is very vertical, and usually hollow and thin where it joins the rock. Tends to melt out several times in the winter, may take up to a week to refreeze. Rappell the route with two ropes.
