"The Helmethead" is a a blocky, but steep cliff that will appear to left of Dew Mound's "Main Wall" when approaching from the trail. The cliff is about 100 feet high. The route starts in the beginning of the cliff. Start by making thin, bouldery moves on overhanging rock (5.11c). Continue face climbing up the steep, loose wall passing many bolts on the way. Sick finish through blocky, overhanging roof. Scary. Chain anchor. As the name of the route implies, it would be wise to wear a helmet.

Descent Options:

Rappel with 60 meter rope.
