About Powerline Pass Bouldering:
| The bouldering along the upper Powerline Pass Trail and at the base of Ptarmigan Peak is phenomenal. Three boulders along the trail have been developed so far with a total of about 16 problems from V0 to V8. In the cirque below Ptarmigan Peak are several more boulders with about 30 problems ranging up to V9, with probably hundreds of unclimbed lines (with potential for very easy to nearly impossible). Locals guess that there will be about 100-125 problems in the bowl area alone. The landings range from soft grass to horrible, sharp talus. |
