About Northwest Passage:

MILE 4.8 The first pullout on the Turnagain Arm side of the highway past Beluga Point. It is paved but only one car wide. Watch for speeding traffic when you cross the road. Walk up the trail on a steep grassy ramp into the trees, and follow a zig-zag trail up to a grove of cottonwoods near an overhanging rock wall. Please stay on the trail to avoid erosion in this nice hidden area. Routes listed from left to right.
Approach: difficult approach with no grassy ramp....trail is mostly loose rocks and dirt now. about a 15 minute approach.
