This is a great climb that has been climbed and developed by many people over the years. i have no idea who the FA goes to. The bottom of the climb islacking in good pro for about 20 feet but the crack opens up a little as you get higher. i have done extensive cleaning in the crack, so its moderatly clean now, but ther are still lichens and some veggies here and there.
there are two new bolts midway on the blank face to the left, traverse to them and bring your second up.
this is a coastal area, literally 100 feet from the sea, so check the bolts everytime you climb there, and do not use them if they look at all out of sorts.
just before the bolts there is a dicy slightly overhanging block with a crack too thin for tips (perhaps a 90 pound woman could do it?...) the pro in this crack is thin, it takes some aid cams and other aid gear, but nothing you would really want to fall on. none of this would be a big dal except that of you fell while climbing this bulge (probably on 5.10c or d, you would land on a ledge. no bueno. this is the crux, making the climb 5.10c R ( but i want to know what other people think).
total length for the climb is about 125 feet. the bottom pitch is about 80 feet and the top, 45 feet.
