From Kenai: Take Kenai Spur Highway north out of Kenai and through Nikiski. Follow the highway till the pavement ends at Captain Cook State Recreation Area. Turn left down a gravel road where you'll find a picnic area on the right and small parking area on the left. Park and walk down to the shores and head north. |
