Description:

Park below Mount Baldy at the top of Skyline Drive. Follow the trail up Mount Baldy, then continue along the ridge to Ptarmigan Blacktail Rocks. There is some bouldering along the ridge, loose rock though. The summit log of Blacktail is not on the actual summit, it is on a peak to the south, it is also black, watch for it.
