About Hanging Forest Area:

MILE 4.0---The Hanging Forest Area is located between the Five Fingers Area and Middle Canyon on a steep, forested hillside to the right. The climbs are shorter than one pitch long, but several of them tackle some steep mixed terrain. Most of the belays are off of trees, nice and secure. It is best to approach the routes on skis or snowshoes, the snow is usually more than a few feet deep most of the season.
