Description:

There are two ways to go about the bottom half of this "route". The "easy" way begins way over by the fourth tower and involves 5th class scrambling to 5.6 or so. The "hard" way starts at the top of a pointed snowfield at the termination of the ridge line. This involves some spicier climbing to 5.9. All paths meet at a large ledge with an old, old bolt. From here to the top can also go at 5.9. Stunning view of north side of main tower from summit. Bring rap gear an d head down into the "easy" start area. You will find a few anchors. About 1400 feet from snowfield. Summit is 6700. No water, very sunny. I have heard that "solva" is sweedish for "sun". Still working on FA info.
